'P4T' to Air on Australian and Swedish TV

One of our distributors emailed us from Hungary's capitol of Budapest, where they are shopping around '9/11 Press For Truth' at the 15th annual DISCOP, the only market dedicated to television sales for Central and Eastern European countries. They are reporting that they have finalized deals for 'Press For Truth' to air on television in Australia and in Sweden.

The movie has previously sold to television channels in Norway, Spain, Poland, and the entire Middle East. We'll provide more details on this new deal as we get them.

"Jersey Girls" Reach Petition Goal, Head to D.C.

In a press release, the "Jersey Girls", four widows from New Jersey whose story is told in '9/11 Press For Truth', announced that they have now surpassed their goal of 15,000 signatures on their petition entitled "The Public's Right to Know - Declassification and Release of Documents".

As we have written previously, the online petition calls for the release of all transcripts and documents related to the recently-revealed July 10th, 2001, meeting between then-CIA Director George Tenet and then-National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice, as well as the 28 redacted pages of the Joint Inquiry Report and the CIA Inspector General's report on 9/11 accountability.

"As promised," the women write, "we have hand delivered it to lawmakers in Washington, D.C." The Jersey widows are asking you to please help them by calling your Congresspeople and telling them the public has a right to know.

Following Controversy, 'P4T' Director Returns to Radio in Defense

Over the last week, according to Jim Babka, president of our partner, the new "Jersey Girls Deserve Answers" Campaign has illicited the most heated response in the organization's three year history. Babka has spent the week wading through emails, attempting to explain our position one reply at a time.

The emails have mostly been coming from two polar opposite camps. Half are from people who are angry that DownsizeDC seems to be veering off it's course into "conspiracy land", and the other half are conspiracy theorists who are angry that '9/11 Press For Truth' doesn't push any conspiracy theories! A contradiction, to be sure.

In order to better clarify the positions of both DownsizeDC and '9/11 Press For Truth', Babka has invited the movie's director, Ray Nowosielski, to return to his radio program, the DownsizeDC Conference Call, today at 4:00PM Eastern time to "get into specifics".

"There are more than just two options regarding 9/11," says Nowosielski. "It isn't simply 'The government told us the whole truth' OR 'conspiracy theory' -- take your pick. Another option, where I think the 'Jersey Girls' and Paul Thompson and myself fall, is that we can't be sure right now exactly what all happened here, but we can clearly demonstrate from the available facts a pattern of utter failure and in some cases criminal negligence, lies, perjury, and obstruction of justice by many U.S. government officials. And we need to see some accountability for that."

Kucinich Announces New 9/11 Hearings Will Begin in September

Speaking before an audience at Sonoma County Fair Grounds in California earlier today, Congressman Dennis Kucinich was asked by someone in the crowd for more information about the new hearings into 9/11 that he has said his subcommittee will be holding.

In his response, he revealed for the first time that the hearings will begin "sometime in September". He further implied that the hearings will look, initially, at allegations of insider trading in the stock market just before 9/11 by individuals with apparent foreknowledge of the attacks.

"How many of you believe that the whole story of 9/11 has not been told?" Kucinich asked the audience and was greeted by cheers. He remarked that he had heard such things from citizens all over the country and "this needs to be taken seriously."

'P4T' Director Will Announce New Campaign Tomorrow on Radio Show

'9/11 Press For Truth' director Ray Nowosielski will join radio host Jim Babka on his one-hour radio show, the DownsizeDC Conference Call, tomorrow afternoon (Sunday) at 4:00PM Eastern time, where the two will announce an important new campaign to help the 9/11 families "press for truth".

Jim Babka is the president of, "the of libertarian politics", an organization advocating common sense small-government legislation that nearly anyone could get behind, like the Read the Bills Act, which would require Congresspeople to ACTUALLY READ THE LEGISLATION before being legally allowed to vote on it.

U.S. Film Festival Premiere of 'P4T'

'9/11 Press For Truth' screened at 2:00PM today at the Central Cinema theater in Seattle as an official selection of the Seattle True Independent Film Festival, the movie's American festival debut.

Director Ray Nowosielski spent the week in Seattle promoting the movie and meeting with fellow filmmakers at the festival. The town was alive with film fans and industry professionals as STIFF ran concurrently with the Seattle International Film Festival, the largest festival in the world. Nowosielski was surprised to learn that John Sinno, producer of last year's Oscar-nominated feature documentary 'Iraq in Fragments', is a fan of 'Press For Truth'. Sinno ended up taking him to lunch, where they discussed future possibilities for reaching a wider audience with 'Press For Truth'.
