Rupert Murdoch Buys '9/11 Press For Truth'

Well, sort of. '9/11 Press For Truth' will have it's Australian television premiere on The History Channel, owned by FoxTel, a Rupert Murdoch-owned company.

'Press For Truth' will premiere as part of a day-long block of programming devoted to Sept. 11th on Australia's The History Channel in honor of the sixth anniversary of the attacks. Hopes are high that this may lead to a U.S. History Channel deal.

Also buying 'Press For Truth' for television broadcasts, most likely over the 9/11 anniversary, are the Polish digital satellite channel Planete, owned by Vivendi Universal, and Spanish public television channel TVE, the largest audio-visual group in Spain to broadcast in the Spanish language.

These are the second channels in both Poland and Spain to purchase the movie for television. Another deal with Sweden is being finalized.

We are encouraging fans to host a house party starting next week, from Friday, Sept. 7th - Sunday, Sept. 16th, as part of the Sept. 11th anniversary "Answers For 9/11 Families Week", in collaboration with Democrats.com and DownsizeDC.org.

Thus far, fifteen activists have signed up at BraveNewTheaters.com to host a 'Press For Truth' house party for that week, including in Greencastle, IN, Kalamazoo, MI, Young Harris, GA, Greensboro, NC, Lawrence, KS, Prescott, AZ, Mount Vernon & Langley, WA, Paradise, Whittier, and Santa Barbara, CA.

Hosts will be sent an email suggesting helpful activities for your guests. Most important among these will be encouraging your guests to get online there and then -- at the party -- and send a message or 'Press For Truth' Pack to their Congressmen as part of the "9/11 Accountability Project".

Theatrical showings of 'Press For Truth' will also take place ON the 6th anniversary in three different cities.

In Oakland, California, it will be playing at 1:20 PM at the Grand Lake Theater (3200 Grand Ave.). Thanks to Carol Brouillet for organizing that. In Minneapolis, MN, it will be playing at 5:00 PM at the Riverview Theater (3800 42nd Ave. South). Thanks to Catherine Statz for that one. And it MAY be playing at Upstate Films in Rhinebeck, New York. We will know soon on that one.

If you are in California, New York, or Minnesota, those showings are expected to sell out, so please arrive early.

Canadian Favorite Interviews 'P4T' Director

Back in February, '9/11 Press For Truth' director Ray Nowosielski was a guest on CKLN Radio, Toronto's 88.1 FM. CKLN is one of Toronto's most respected radio stations in any format, frequently being named as a listener favorite in magazine and newspaper polls.
